Beyonce has joined forces with J Balvin and Willy
Williams for a new version of Mi Gente in support of
hurricane relief efforts.
The singer, who sings in both English and Spanish on
the track, is donating her proceeds from the song to
charities including CEMA, UNICEF and Somos Una Voz
for Puerto Rico, Mexico and other affected Caribbean
islands.
It's her first song since welcoming her twins back in
June.

"I am donating my proceeds from this song to
hurricane relief charities for Puerto Rico, Mexico and
the other affected Caribbean islands," she announced
with a series of colourful Instagram posts and a video
clip on Thursday night.
The original version, which pairs Colombian singer
Balvin with French artist/producer Williams, was
originally released in June and ended the 14-week
reign of Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's Despacito
atop Spotify's Global chart.
Balvin, who has been collaborated with recording
artists from all genres including Justin Bieber, has
millions of followers as does Beyonce with 106 million
followers on Instagram alone.
One online Beyonce fan simply wrote, "Super duper
shook. She is queen."
Kim Kardashian also announced she would be
donating all money from the sales of her Vogue
Mexico cover to those affected by the devastating
earthquake that took place in Mexico earlier this
month.
"My Vogue Mexico cover comes out today! Proceeds
of the magazine sales will be going towards Mexico
earthquake relief through Project Paz," Kim tweeted
on Thursday.
She continued: "If you want to help, please consider
making a donation to @ProjectPaz, who give every
dollar raised to the victims."
