Former heavyweight champion David Haye has agreed
to fight UFC star Jimi Manuwa.
Haye, who is currently recovering from a ruptured
Achilles he suffered during his defeat to Tony Bellew
earlier this year, and Manuwa chatted before Aaron
Chalmer's knock out win at BAMMA 31.
And after a prolonged chat, UFC light heavyweight
No.5 rank confirmed the fight would happen early in
2018.

But it has to wait until Haye has taken on Bellew for a
second time and potentially a match up with Joseph
Parker.

Manuwa told MMAuno: "The fight is on.
"I want it, he wants it. He says he has to fight a
couple more fights before we are going to do it.
"It'll be the beginning of of next year, by the end of
the middle of next year.
Haye and Manuwa are hoping to follow in the
footsteps of Floyd Maywather and Conor McGregor's
extremely profitable Money Fight.
Boxer Mayweather beat Octogon legend McGregor by
TKO in the 10th round in the ring last month - as the
Irishman jumped across the discipline to take on the
undefeated American.
