Ashtrays, dirty washing and floors strewn with toilet roll: What the stars' homes REALLY look like

When it comes to taking a selfie, the first rule is to
get a good angle.
The second is to clean your room up before you
accidentally capture a shot of your dirty knickers lying
on the floor in the background.
But it’s a lesson the stars seem reluctant to learn,
with the likes of Chloe Khan , Kate Hudson, Lauren
Goodger and Vicky Pattinson all falling foul of the
rookie error.
Even Kim Kardashian , the most savvy selfie taker of
all, has revealed her secret messy self, sharing a
video of her chaotic closet in 2014.
"Yesterday…trying to pick out an outfit struggle,” she
captioned the shot which showed her surrounded by
mountains of discarded clothes and a floor strewn
with shoes, coat hangers, slippers and a remote, while
her daughter North, then 18-months, played with a
dirty pair of grey trackie bottoms.
Sometimes though the stars are only too happy to
share their cesspit environs with the masses.
Gaz Beadle gave his Snapchat followers a guided tour
of the Geordie Shore house in February, revealing
mounds of dirty clothes, empty beer bottles, rubbish
and mystery stains on the carpet.
"This is what the boys room looks like after we've
finished filming,” he said to the camera, adding "And
this is the girls' room. Minging! Errghhh.”
Miley Cyrus perhaps hold the crown as the Queen of
Mess though, with her front room carpet strewn with
odds and ends, including a skunk, a pink cuddly
something or other, shoes, an ashtray and shredded
paper.
Meanwhile, Lindsay Lohan is a close second thanks to
the low-budget fridge in the background, complete
with the kind of microwave you'd expect to find in the
office tea room. The floor fan adds a real touch of
class, as do the clothes spilling off the side of her
bed.
In her eagerness to show off her abs, Kate Hudson
completely forgot where she was, sharing a pic of her
carpet covered in shows and clothes.
Vicky Pattison got it wrong too, with a pair of her
white knickers clearly visible in the background, along
with the over-flowing contents of her wardrobe.
Poor Lauren Goodger perhaps thought that her boobs
would be enough to distract eagle-eyed fans from her
messy place, but the array of suitcases, plastic boxes,
chargers, clothes and toiletries didn't go unnoticed.
On a scale of one to feral, Bella Hadid's room wasn't
all that bad, although she could probably have chosen
a better backdrop than a pile of dirty laundry.
Meanwhile, Chloe Khan might want to think about
giving her floor a quick hoover next time... and make
her bed... and put away her bills.
