Lady Gaga says chronic pain condition could stop her from starting a family

Lady Gaga has admitted she’s worried that the chronic
pain she suffers will affect her starting a family .
The illness saw the singer forced to postpone her
European tour – which was due to start in Barcelona
this week – until next year. The 31-year-old suffers
from fibromyalgia, which causes overwhelming pain
all over her body.
Speaking through tears about her condition on new
Netflix documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two, which
premiered on the streaming site today, she questioned
“if” she would be able to bear a child, saying: “I know
I think I can get pregnant , but what are my hips
going to do?”

Elsewhere, she appears devastated over the
breakdown of her relationship with actor Taylor
Kinney , as she is heard saying: “I just want to go on
tour and have a family. I never get it all right. My love
life has imploded.”
The singer was previously forced to cancel dates on
her 2013 tour after she broke a hip and underwent
surgery. The injury still affects her “every single day”,
she reveals.
She pulled out of a gig in Rio after being hospitalised
earlier this month, prior to rescheduling the dates for
her Joanne tour – including several UK dates in
October.
She said: “I am looking forward to touring again soon,
but I have to be with my doctors right now so I can
be strong.”
So far, the North American leg of stadium concerts
pulled in £38million in ticket sales.
The documentary depicts her “lowest lows and
highest highs”, including undergoing intense therapies
– she receives treatment injections from a doctor in a
hospital while having her make-up applied for an
interview.
Speaking about its release, she said: “I’m most
touched that the veil behind the aura of my fame
reveals that fame is not all it’s cracked up to be.”
