Vicky Pattison 'to wed fiancé John Noble in £175,000 bash in Newcastle on grandparents 65th anniversary next summer'

Vicky Pattison will marry fiancé John Noble in
Newcastle next summer, it emerged last night.
The ex-Geordie Shore star's grandparents accidentally
let slip the wedding date as it falls on their 65th
anniversary in July.
And the I'm a Celebrity winner will stick to her
northern roots by tying the knot at Le Petit Chateau in
Northumberland.
The 29-year-old and her hubby-to-be are reportedly
set to splash £175,000 on their big day, according to
The Sun .
A source told the newspaper: A source said: "They
looked around the place last week and were very cute
and tactile, pointing out where they’d put things and
seeing how much it would cost to hire out the whole
place.
“They were blown away and put down a deposit
immediately."
Vicky's grandmother Mavis is believed to have let slip
the date of the wedding, which falls on her
annivesary.
The 87-year-old met husband David, also 87, when the
pair were 16 and married in 1953.
The couple got engaged in July after Vicky accepted
childhood sweetheart John's surprise proposal.
The star burst into tears when her man pulled out a
3.6-carat diamond ring as they were out walking his
dog.
Revealing the whole proposal story, Vicky told OK!
magazine: "I was hoping he would come to see me [in
Essex] but he kept saying he had too much on.
"It was so out of character for him that I started
panicking, thinking he was going to finish things with
me. I was crying to all my friends all the time and
arguing with him on the phone because I was so sure
he didn't want to be with me anymore."
But John actually had the huge surprise up his sleeve
the whole time.
"I was spending a few days at John's house, which is
just outside Newcastle and surrounded by lovely
countryside," Vicky said.
"One morning he suggested we take his dog Roxie out
for a walk. After a while we stopped for a sit down on
a bench overlooking some lovely scenery. I was
playing with Roxie when she shook her head and got
slobber all over my face.
"When I wiped it away, John was in front of me on
one knee! I couldn't believe it, I burst into tears. I said
yes and then I looked at the ring and I was blown
away, it was amazing."
And Vicky can't help but gush over her fiancé.
"He's lovely," she said. "For years I've sort of
struggled with my personal life and finding someone
who was supportive of my career and is essentially
successful in their own right as well.
"I finally have that with John. He's lovely and caring
and strong.
"I finally have a man, not a fan."
