You are having less sex than you were 10 years ago, probably

Having sex may be going out of fashion, after
research showed the average American is enjoying
fewer intimate encounters than they were a decade
ago.
A study published in Archives of Sexual Behaviour
reveals that adults across the pond had sex nine
fewer times per year between 2010 and 2014 when
compared to 2000 and 2004.
And the news is even worse for married couples who
live together, who had sex 16 fewer times a year,
Time reported.

Although the modern age is often seen as overly
sexualised compared to the innocence of the past,
the study also found that - when controlling age and
time period - those having the most sex were those
born during the 1930s while those in the 1990s were
having the least.
The study's author, Jean Twenge, is a professor of
psychology at San Diego State University.
She wrote: "The results suggest that Americans are
having sex less frequently due to two primary factors:
an increasing number of individuals without a steady
or marital partner and a decline in sexual frequency
among those with partners."
Although the reason for the decline in overall hanky-
panky isn't clear, Jean said it could be to do with
increased time spent working and parenting, as well
as the growing trend of streaming entertainment like
Netflix taking up leisure time.
