Donald Trump claims his Twitter being deleted for 11 minutes shows he's 'having an impact'

Donald Trump has tweeted triumphantly after his
Twitter account was restored following an 11-minute
outage.
A disgruntled employee of the social media giant
deactivated the US President's feed on their last day
in the job.
Now Trump has responded - saying it shows his
politics is "having an impact".
PROMOTED STORIES
He tweeted: "My Twitter account was taken down for
11 minutes by a rogue employee.
"I guess the word must finally be getting out-and
having an impact."
He then immediately returned to tweeting about
"crooked Hillary" Clinton.
The President's personal account @realDonaldTrump
showed a message which read 'Sorry that page
doesn't exist!'
The error message is usually for accounts that have
been deleted, rather than suspended by Twitter.
The news spread rapidly on the social media network
where Trump has arguably become the most
influential tweeter in the world.
But just as users were beginning to speculate what
might have happened, the account came back within a
matter of minutes.
In a message posted a short time later, Twitter
explained that Trump's account vanished as a result
of "human error".
"Earlier today @realdonaldtrump 's account was
inadvertently deactivated due to human error by a
Twitter employee," the statement said.
"The account was down for 11 minutes, and has since
been restored.
"We are continuing to investigate and are taking steps
to prevent this from happening again."
A later post added: "Through our investigation we
have learned that this was done by a Twitter
customer support employee who did this on the
employee’s last day.
"We are conducting a full internal review."
When the truth emerged, the rogue employee was
quickly hailed a hero.
